Many Latinos can vote too. The present demographic trend is increasingly putting the Republicans in a catch 22 situation. They had a limited window to extricate themselves from this reality to begin with, now that window may be closed.

Gee, nationalism sounds like such a great solution. American exceptionalism, something Palin talks about a lot, is such an elitist conservative dream of authoritarianism. The idea "the people" actually have choices is laughable. Yes we have choices when it comes to some things we buy (if we have discretionary money), but we can't pick any doctor we want, buy energy from multiple suppliers or listen to a liberal media outlet in any city in the country.

Palin's (conservatives) advocacy of small government means "we the people" would be smaller, and not able to withstand our larger corporate masters power grabs.

Despite the problem of importing labor, it's a wedge issue, racist and white victimisation.

Palin is a bad choice. She's replaces curiosity with gut feels, good slogans and nepotism. Maybe you should look up how she has handled herself as mayor, governor and candidate. The information is out there. With all the smart Republicans out there, men and women, you choose this chrome plated beauty queen. My God!
